Leading on from Matt’s testimonial, today he reached the hoop for the first time in all his 10-years of basketball training! Three months ago Matt came to me with two specific goals: work on defense and hang from the hoop. We’ve worked on defense and the results speak for themselves on court. All through training we’ve focused on strength, plyometrics, speed and agility for him to conquer his nemesis. Matt has basketball trials for the regional team this weekend, so to break this barrier one week before is totally awesome! Superset:
Squats Full Range: 10 reps
Box Jumps with hip extension at the end position: 10 reps
90 sec rest between each superset for 6 sets
Superset:
Bunny hops: 30 meters
Sprints with weighted vest: 100 m
90 sec rest between each superset for 6 sets
